Tips for good sleep

Here are some tips that might help you get better-quality sleep and feel more rested and alert during the day.

Keep a regular bedtime and wake-up time. Stick to it, even on weekends. That will help your body know when to feel alert and when to feel sleepy.

Get enough sleep. Adults need at least 8 hours. Teens should get 9 1/2. Kids need even more.

Of course, your bed and pillow(s) should be comfortable. Different people have different preferences.

The room should not be too hot or too cold. (If your feet -- or other areas of your body feel cold, wear socks or a comfortable cap.)

Lighting, if any, should be very dim. (Light can shine through your eyelids and send "wake-up" signals to your brain.) If you can’t get rid of the light, try black curtains, aluminum foil over windowpanes, or sleep masks/eye shades.

If you don’t want complete silence, listen to a constant "white noise." (Radios and T.V.s are very disruptive to sleep, even if you believe they make you sleep better!) If you can’t get rid of noise, try ear plugs.

Don’t use stimulants (such as colas, chocolate, tea, coffee, nicotine, and some medications) too close to bed time. Some of these can stay in your body up to 6 hours. Even if you don't think they bother you, scientists say they will make your sleep worse.
Exercise each day, but no strenuous exercise within 6 hours of bedtime.

Avoid alcohol, which can cause night time awakenings, nightmares, and headaches.

A light snack may help you fall asleep, but avoid heavy meals near bedtime.

Try to avoid lying awake in bed. Only get into bed when you really feel as though you will fall asleep. If you are awake in bed for 20 minutes, get up and do something else until you feel tired.

Beauty tips for Pimples

Take a small bowl and pour some fuller's earth on it to make a face pack of multani mitti. Whiteheads, you need to tackle three things: blackheads, so in short, to get rid of pimples. If it is covered by a layer of skin, this blockage is called a whitehead. C. Use a face pack for blackheads and whiteheads that contains sandalwood, multani mitti (fuller's earth) and turmeric (haldi). Instead it is best to always prefer herbal beauty products and if they are made at home, then that’s a plus point So above were a few homemade beauty tips for oily skin and pimples plus herbal face packs for white and blackheads. Use an antiseptic face pack. Steam your face once a week to open the clogged pores and then wipe off with cotton wool dipped in warm water. Absorb extra oils that cause these. Now when the paste dries out completely, wash it with a wet sponge in a very soft manner.

Now here is the remedy for whiteheads (Beauty Tips): First of all, you need to attack what causes them to cure whiteheads. After this, the immune system of our body starts repairing the skin and then a swelling starts to occur which is termed as a pimple or acne. Now mix a little bit of water and keep on adding to make a firm paste that can be applied on your face. Now add water and make a paste just like we mix white cement at home for making this, take a bowl and mix turmeric, multani mitti, and sandalwood in equal quantities. Multani mitti face pack can also be applied on other body parts which are affected by direct sunlight. Then it is known as a blackhead if this remains exposed and turns black. Use a scrub that contains ingredients which absorb extra oils and clean the pores.

You need to use an herbal pack that will absorb the extra oil that is being secreted, so for that you need to make a homemade face pack of multani mitti (fuller’s earth) at the same time. That is, you need to unclog the blocked skin pores and apply a homemade face pack that has antiseptic properties to prevent bacterial growth. This plug of oil, dirt, sometimes, and dead skin cells becomes a breeding ground for bacterial organisms’ hair follicles. This will absorb all the extra oils from the surface of the skin and will work as an antiseptic. And dead cells on the surface of the skin when this happens, the affected area becomes inflamed and starts bursting throwing away oil, bacterial organisms. Remember not to speak anything when the pack is applied as this can cause undue tension on facial skin which can cause wrinkles on the face. This herbal mud is also a natural remedy for heat stroke and small skin rashes on the back. As they contain too many chemicals and rather can harm the skin one thing you must always remember is that you should never use commercial cosmetic products that claim to be helpful in getting rid of these problems or for overall facial skin care.

Now apply this paste on the skin and leave it on until it dries out. This will loosen the dirt-dead cell plug and help remove it easily. Secondly, use a scrub once a week. This will exfoliate the skin and remove dead skin cells and hidden trapped dirt and clean it. It is an advantage as red lentils help fight acne, pimples, if the scrub contains red lentils, and whiteheads blackheads.

This will not only remove your pimples but also blackheads. Atleast once in a two weeks if you do like this you will get a bright look.
