Relax your leg and hip joints

Sit on the floor with both legs stretched out in front.  Place your hands on your knees and keep your back erect. As you exhale bring all the toes together and spread your toes out as your exhale.  Make sure you exercise just the toes. Don't move your feet.  Repeat this exercise 20 times.  This exercise will ensure that your legs and hip joints are relaxed.

Strong faith in GOD

Have faith in GOD.  Faith is the greatest power.  Have faith in what you do. It makes life vital, dynamic and joyful.  Faith leads to confidence.  To believe is to be strong. Belief is power. Faith releases the power. Have belief in GOD. It is essential.  God shall be my hope, my stay, my guide and lantern to my feet etc., one should have this belief.

If you have faith in God then you will know that you have capacity to handle life successfully through the power of God.

Have firm mind that God helps you, when God guides you, your failures are superseded by a new keenness of mind and by a pleasant confidence.

Some people have inferiority complex, they think that they cannot achieve anything.  Suppose you are dominated by inferiority complex start filling the mind with an affirmative faith in God. Next, believe humbly, but strongly in yourself. Start living in the belief that God is with you.

In addition, there is noise pollution also.  Our mind is not free from stress. We do everything in a hurry. Even we eat fast food. We don't sit and eat. It becomes very necessary to keep away from this busy city life, to avoid all these we must spend our time with the family. Reading Books is a good habit

A human become a machine if he / she is always workaholic. Sometime we have to divert our mind towards reading good articles, books, novels or spiritual books. It give us not only knowledge but also relaxation from the work or routine work.

The day will not begin without newspapers. They educate the public.  We can learn many things by reading books. There are plenty of material available for reading, text books, general books, magazines, weekly, monthly, daily newspaper etc.,


I personally feel reading of biographies of great men. The reading of novels and short stories is a pleasant past time. People like reading books while travelling. Thus they avoid tense moments.

The habit of reading good books is a sign of good culture.  It we have books we need not have friends.  The books are the best companions and friends.  Always there will be benefit out of reading books.

Reading is of different kinds from light reading to serious reading.  Also how to get books to read is next question.

To do any work one should be physically fit. The body has to perform the life's duties well.  A healthy body is the first requirement.  Unless one is healthy nothing can be achieved.  That is why the adage "Health is wealth. Men can enjoy the good things of life only if he is in good health.  Maintaining good health is one is the requirement of personality development.  Health is not merely free from diseases.  It is not only physical health but mental health also.



To keep fit we must do some regular exercises, running, jogging, yoga, meditation. aerobics, skipping  etc., With all these one can maintain their Blood pleasure or sugar  levels though out their life.

One cannot satisfy all desires in his lifetime

One cannot satisfy all desires in his life time. Desires are endless.  We are human.  Our desires are unlimited.  If we fulfill the desire another desire is generated.

Lord Buddha said desires cause sorrow.  A man will not be happy until his desires are satisfied. So his mind is in a perturbed condition.  I want to become a karodpati/millionaire. Desires grow. A man with desires in his mind even cannot die peacefully.  He may even take a new birth to satisfy his desires.  So where is the end.  How can his mind attain peace?


Everyone will have one or the other desire.  Nothing wrong.  They may be reasonable.  We work to achieve our goals.  But one should not be mad for getting something which is not within his reach.

By fulfilling desires one cannot become happy.  A desire has already disturbed the calmness of the mind.  So some people avoid to acquire and suppress the desire.  But this attitude also do not yield happiness.  Because the desire is not dead.  It remains in the mind.  So psychologically it affects.  The person will be grumbling now and then that he didn't attain his needs. Desire is okay but greedy will cause many problems. So to be happy, to control mind give up the desire.  Put an end to desires.

Positive mental attitude

If we think positive good things happen to us. So change your attitude if it is negative.  This is what usually the leaders of positive mental attitude movement say. It is true also.  We may feel that whatever we think are right.

Thoughts are not ordinary things.
Thoughts are things endowed with bodies, breath and wings.
Thoughts are invisible in nature, but their action is forceful.
Thoughts can travel miles together.
Thoughts have direct relation with the mind.
Thoughts are the sources of mind/thinking.

There is a saying think before you ink. Moreover one has to think and do.

All good thoughts are positive thoughts
All bad thoughts are negative thoughts

Good thoughts are creative thoughts, Business thoughts, sympathetic thoughts, intelligent thoughts and noble thoughts.

Bad thoughts are jealous thoughts, in-secured thoughts, envying thoughts, poisonous thoughts, confused thoughts, distorted thoughts etc.,

Control over these bad thoughts and balance your mind. If we want to live happily and have peace of mind first we have to improve our thoughts. Our thoughts are the causes for our problems or difficulties so we have to understand our own thoughts and analyse.

Control over thoughts means not to stop thinking, but just mastering over them. Yoga can help in this matter. Then negative impressions of our thoughts can be erased to a stage where the mind becomes pure.

How to do Meditation

For meditation you have to sit in a quiet place. You cannot experience silence from a noisy place of state.  Never get identified with thoughts.  Let them come and go. Now there is silence.  Experience it. Be conscious of every inhalation and exhalation of breath. Observe how inhalation turns into exhalation and vice versa.  Experience stillness.  In this state you can clearly see your real self that means super conscious mind.  There will be absolute peace.  Focus your mind and the power of God begins to reflect in the clear waters of your consciousness.  Link yourself with the god.

Remove mental limitations through meditation

Meditation removes mental limitations. Mind is a bundle of thoughts.  Moreover the mind is always attacked by thoughts and we become victim of thoughts.  The mind goes on using us.  To bring the mind to our control few exercises are necessary.

Meditation is one such exercise, when the mind is in conflict creates sorrow.
Meditation is the art of letting go sorrow.
Meditation is not silence. It is the art of being awake.
Meditation helps us discover the higher self.

Environment

Maintaining the surroundings or environment one can improve one's mental health.  If the environment is not clean, noisy and not free from impurities mind gets perturbed and health get impaired.

Change

Always think positively. Then your mind will be in a balanced state. Thinking positive always helps us.  Positive thinking is the foundation of our life. By positive thoughts you can change the environment.  You will be healthy also.

God is one

God is ONE most of the people will believe this. This is a powerful and good positive thinking. God is on our side. If we know God is for us, then it shouldn't matter how we feel or what other people think of us. If he is on our side, then what can others do to us.
